As a designer/artist I work from a strong aesthetic desire and an experience as primary function.
My aim is to create intriguing projects to offer sensorial discovery, aiming to convey the power of colour, material and texture to reawaken a more sensual relationship with objects, and satisfy our inherent desire for tactility. I have a fascination for the relationship between color, material and tactility and what experience this may induce; what effect it has on the surrounding space and spectators.Researching and developing materials and experimenting with form and color bring me to new products and functions. My design process in relation to materials is playful, eclectic and sensual. The material often unravels the sensory and emotional individual experience of touch.
I like to play with ordinary every day occurrences that people do not seem to see, placing this on a pedestal for others to admire.
